dc.description.abstract A desalination plant which is entirely and directly operated by solar power was launched at the Sam Nujoma campus. It is a collaborative initiative between UNAM and the University of Turku (Finland). The Namibia Project Management Summit will be hosted on 7 June. It aims to rectify the fact that Namibia has very few project management offices. Two researchers from the Geography Department were awarded fellowships from the Aberystwyth University to work on water resources in arid environments research. en_US
