dc.description.abstract The study looks at the problems and opportunities of the current Vocational Education & Training System in Namibia. Informal interviews and discussions were conducted with, the officials from the two Ministries of Education and the owners of the private companies who are the supposedly partners in training arena - human resources development towards a sound economic growth. It looks at the problems within the current Vocational Education and Training System within the country en_US
dc.description.abstract The study gives a brief overview of the streamlining process, which is currently being taken by the Ministry of Higher Education, Training and Employment Creation. Experiences of the other developing and developed countries are cited with regard to problems and opportunities in Vocational Education and Training world over. It makes some concluding remarks with recommendations that are very useful within the government's efforts for the betterment of the system to benefit the country and its people.
