The HIV / AIDS disease is a fast growing pandemic, which is affecting and being the main leading cause of most deaths in Namibia. The focus of this study is to find out the attitude and behavior of the students from the University of Namibia (UNAM) towards HIV /AIDS. As leaders for the near future, this is the group, which should be more responsible and concerned of their well being as well as the country's. The aims and objectives of the study were to find out the HIV / AIDS information needs and awareness of UNAM students, the means through which the students get HIV / AIDS information, whether students conduct further research on HIV / AIDS information that is not clear to them, to find out whether they share the HIV information with other people and their reason in so doing
