dc.description.abstract The question, which can now be asked, is whether the common law is capable of dealing with the complex issues, which may arise from such transactions? The purpose of this paper is to show that ultimately the common law is capable of dealing the these issues en_US
dc.description.abstract One of the most important areas where electronic commerce has had an important impact is that of contracts. The impact has both been on national and international level. Various issues exist in relation between the law and Internet contracts. However, to deal with all the issues which could arise from an Internet contract, would be beyond the scope of this paper. Therefore this paper will only deal with certain problematic areas in contracting on the Internet. Chapter 1 will deal with what the Internet is and how it operates. Chapter 2 is a brief discussion of ordinary "paper" contracts. Chapter 3 will deal with specific problem areas in contracting over the Internet en_US
