dc.description.abstract Abstract by author: en_US
dc.description.abstract The main findings were as follows: (a) Trade in agricultural machinery in the SADC region is limited with most of these countries being importers of agricultural machinery from other countries, outside the region. (b) Trade within the SADC region will continue to decline, unless special measures are taken to create more opportunities in the trade. (c) Namibia in particular do not export any agricultural machinery and has no local manufacturing capacity en_US
dc.description.abstract This study was an attempt to identify agricultural machinery importing, and exporting countries within the region, quantities, values and prices. It also tried to identify possible opportunities for increasing trade within the region en_US
