dc.description.abstract The commonest causes of carcass condemnation were: measles, bruising, and contamination. Other causes were oedema, pneumo-pleuritis, icterus, emaciation, and pyaemia. Main causes of organ condemnations included, general contamination, nodular worm, hydatidosis, abscess and Hepatic Stilesiosis en_US
dc.description.abstract Incidences of carcass condemnation did not show significant variation from year to year. Rates of condemnation were 1. 54 percent for 1998, 1. 34 percent for 1999, 1. 16 percent for 2000 and 0. 57 percent for 2001, respectively. The paunch 17655 (6. 44 percent) and liver 17600 (6. 42 percent) were the most commonly condemned organs, the main reasons being hydatidosis, nodular worm, general contamination and Hepatic Stilesiosis en_US
