dc.description.abstract | Namibia is a country that has proud achievements, yet there still exist challenges that still beckon for attention. The scourge of HIV/AIDS (Human Immuno Virus, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) is one such challenge. This calls for more research to be done in order to identify new ways of fighting the pandemic. One way of doing this is to re-examine the strategies used by NBC (Namibian Broadcasting Corporation) Lozi Service in the fight against HIV/AIDS. NBC Lozi Service is the only national radio station in the Caprivi Region. Therefore, it can play an important role in influencing, educating and empowering individuals to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. It is on this basis that the study aimed at identifying the shortcomings of NBC Lozi Service in disseminating information on HIV/AIDS. This research consisted of participants from the Mafwe and the Masubiya tribes | en_US |
