This research aims at investigating the degree at which sexual violence tends to implicate within the Namibian media. It will also identify the impacts, which both print and broadcast media do pose towards all acts of sexual violence in the country. It identifies the nature of all media contents and what influence do they have towards sexual violence. Moreover, the research shall also investigate on how the role of the media (to inform, to entertain, and to educate) is been expanded and conveyed within the reports on sexual violence. Another consideration shall be placed to analyze the reactions of media audiences towards the contents of sexual violence they receive from the media. In addition, the research goes on to find out how the media can be used properly in order to devise solutions to cub sexual violence. It is also important to note that undertaking this research shall help in formulating an immediate solution to prevent sexual violence. Therefore, the content of the media shall be analyzed through the feedbacks of respondents from the questionnaires, more focus shall be placed on both qualitative and quantitative data,and final recommendations are set up for possible solutions to the problem of sexual violence in Namibia.
