dc.description.abstract The proposal serves to establish the extent to which the library supports knowledge managementin an organization. Specifically the proposal has focused on the role of libraries in knowledge management and how it is perceived in an organization. The study targeted employees within an organization. A quantitative study has been conducted and it has made use of self- administered questionnaires as research instruments. The researcher facilitated a case study, which was done at the Bank of Namibia. The significance of the study was to provide an insight on the nature of knowledge, the facilitation of knowledge by the librarian, the value of knowledge sharing in the organization. This was to find out how knowledge flows within an organization. An accidental sampling method was implemented for the provision of information on sharing. Conclusions and recommendations are made based on the information provided en_US
