The main aim of this proposal is to convey the plan to which my proposed research will be carried out. The research will investigate the extent to which MISA helps journalists in Namibia to express their freedom of expression
The study will try to come up with possible strategies that can advocate for freedom of expression in Namibia and investigate the perceptions that journalists have towards MISA, as well as try to find the factors that hamper MISA from executing its programs set up to promote media freedom Namibia
The proposal contains the following: The first part of the proposal contains the background, which gives an overview of the information system of Namibia before and after independence and gives the history of MISA and the programs it set up. The background also gives an overview of what the problem statement is
The second part outlines the objectives of the research and the research questions; it will give the theoretical frameworks on which the study is based
The third part is the methodology, which shows the methods, and procedures that will be used to collect and analyse data, the sampling methods and the population to be used, and explains the significance of the study
